As the co-anchor of Good Morning Carolina (which airs on WWAY ABC & CBS) and News at Noon, I am responsible for providing viewers with timely and relevant news coverage. In addition, I represent the station at a variety of nonprofit fundraisers and community events. I know how to function in a multi-platform content environment and report for all digital platforms. I have also produced a weekly segment called Teacher of the Week which recognizes excellent teachers in the Cape Fear. I know how to shoot video, use Edius Editing software, and ENPS.• Won two Awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas: Continuing Coverage (2019) and Best Daytime Newscast (2018).• Conducted over 100 live and recorded interviews with local, state and national newsmakers regarding topics of interest to viewers in southeastern North Carolina.• Published breaking news and stories using WordPress, MGN Online, Social News Desk and other social media platforms.
