About Ritwik Giri
As an experienced Data Engineering Analyst, I have a keen interest in analyzing and designing efficient data pipelines that help organizations unlock valuable insights from their data. My expertise in ETL Datastage, Unix, and Teradata has enabled me to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines and provide effective solutions. At Accenture, I also have been involved in setting up full CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that each commit made by developers undergoes the standard process of the software lifecycle and gets tested before it can make it to production. I have also been a part of the Incident Management team and played a crucial role in maintaining SLAs of incidents for each team. As a Business Analyst Intern at HighRadius Corporation, I had the opportunity to analyze financial data, observe financial performance, identify trends, and prepare reports on the above information. During this internship, I honed my skills in requirement gathering, gap analysis, prioritization, problem-solving, solutions, persuasive communication, and effective presentation. In my Summer Internship at Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, I worked on ICE (Information Consolidation for Efficiency), an enterprise-wide project on consolidating all ERP applications on one platform- SAP. During this internship, I learned to configure employee data regarding payslips and medical claims using SAP and ABAP. I also prepared reports of the disaster backup registers\' daily memory usage and CPU consumption. My technical expertise includes languages such as SQL, Python, C, C++, and Java, Unix and Shell scripting, ETL tools such as DataStage Quality 11.x/8.x Administrator, Designer, Director, and DevOps tools like Bitbucket and Jenkins. I am well-versed in ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, methodologies like Waterfall and Agile, and Relational database management skills such as Microsoft SQL server, IBM DB2, Teradata, and MySQL. I hold certifications in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Advanced Java, SQL, and DevOps Certification through Accenture Program, and Udemy - Tableau & Python. Overall, my passion for data engineering and extensive experience in the field has helped me develop a strong foundation in designing and analyzing data pipelines.
