ABOUT RITWIK POTDAR

I have completed my undergraduate studies in Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree majoring in Accounting & Finance. Thereafter, I went on to complete my LL.B from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. Simultaneously, I have completed Diploma course in Arbitration, Conciliation and Alternative Dispute Resolution System (D. A. C. A. D. R. S.) at Symbiosis Law School, a Diploma course in Cyber Laws (DCL) and a Course in Intellectual Property Law Specialist (IPLS) at Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune. During my time in law school, I have interned at some of the most prestigious law firms and organizations in India. In my present role, I work on several high-value transactions related to the establishment of greenfield projects and companies in India with the corporate team. I am a part of the Real Estate practice at K Singhania & Co and do extensive research on laws and regulations related to the Maharashtra State Cooperatives Act, 1960 and RERA (Real Estate Regulation Authority) Act, 2016 and several other legislations and regulations. I am also a part of the Dispute Resolution team and appear in the High Court and lower courts in Mumbai. I am passionate about the democratization of knowledge and ensuring the law is accessible to everybody and to that end I actively participate in the knowledge-sharing initiatives of the firm and assists in writing the monthly newsletter. I believe sports and hobbies do form a part of the overall development of a human being! Having said that, some of my hobbies include going on bike rides, collecting old and antique currencies, cycling and playing football.
