Planning and procurement of medical equipment as per protocol.• Vendor Management-Day to day interaction, analyzing the performance of vendors and prepare the reports based on their Performances.• Monitoring & analyzing the performance of various equipments & planning for their optimum usage.• Energy conservation planning & execution.To prepare technical comparison sheet of equipment.• Installation and commissioning of medical/ non medical equipments.• To maintain history sheet of all equipments.• To make schedule of preventive maintenance.• To get done preventive maintenance/routine maintenance.• Co-ordinate the work of Maintenance and quality assurance in between administration and FMS.• Identify training needs and organize the same.• To participate in various committee meetings to discuss the problems related to FMS, measures to overcome it.• To update departmental records as per JCI, ISO & NABH norms.• To keep record of Annual Maintenance Contract of equipments.• To minimize the breakdowns & repair / maintenance cost of equipments.
