I have hands-on experience working as a Junior Civil Engineer on solar power projects, where I was involved in the planning, execution, and supervision of civil works essential for solar plant construction. My responsibilities included site survey and layout marking, foundation excavation and casting for solar panel mounting structures (module mounting structures - MMS), trenching and cable ducting for electrical conduits, and backfilling.I ensured strict adherence to engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinating with contractors, material suppliers, and site teams was a key part of my role, enabling smooth workflow and timely completion of civil activities.Additionally, I contributed to site inspections, progress reporting, and troubleshooting on-site challenges related to soil conditions, drainage, and structural stability. My exposure to project documentation, quantity estimation, and quality control has strengthened my ability to support large-scale solar infrastructure development efficiently.This experience has provided me with a strong foundation in renewable energy infrastructure, combining civil engineering principles with sustainable energy goals, and enhanced my skills in project management, teamwork, and technical problem-solving within the solar sector.
