With over 26 years of experience — including more than two and a half decades at BHEL and an early stint in the private sector — I’ve had the privilege of contributing across technology, strategy, and execution.My career began at Vam Organic Chemicals Limited (now Jubilant Organosys), where I worked in the IT department on the implementation of ERP BaaN at their Gajraula Plant. This foundational role exposed me to enterprise systems and digital transformation at the plant level.In January I joined BHEL, beginning in Information Technology, where I spent over 8 years managing internal digital infrastructure and process automation. After completing my MBA from FMS, University of Delhi, I transitioned into a strategic role in Mergers & Acquisitions at BHEL\'s Corporate Office, where I spent about 6 years evaluating cross-border M&A opportunities to drive the company’s inorganic growth.I then led the Technology Licensing and Joint Ventures team for 8 years, forging strategic global partnerships that brought state-of-the-art technologies to BHEL and enabled diversification into new products & markets.For the past 3+ years, I’ve been deeply involved in Project Execution, overseeing planning, materials, manpower, and on-site construction management for large-scale infrastructure projects.Currently, I serve as Project Director, leading the EPC execution of five Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) units for NTPC at its 4×210 MW and 3×500 MW power stations in Kahalgaon. This critical project supports environmental compliance and emissions control and involves full-scope delivery across civil, mechanical, electrical, and C&I disciplines.I hold complete P&L responsibility for the site — managing costs, earnings, cash flows, and overall financial performance. I also work closely with and align two vital stakeholders — the customer (NTPC) and multiple contractors — to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution.\"Kaam Me Gati, Shoonya Kshati\" is our motto and the driving force behind swift and safe execution at the site.I believe in leading by example, consistently motivating and engaging with not only my BHEL team but also our contractors and workmen.    Executing the 1×800 MW Ultra-Supercritical Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Project for HPGCL on EPC basis, awarded under International Competitive Bidding.Haryana’s first ultra-supercritical power plant, delivering higher efficiency, reduced coal consumption, and lower emissions.Scope includes end-to-end EPC—boiler, turbine-generator, auxiliaries, electricals, C&I, and advanced emission control systems, with equipment supplied from BHEL units across India and site execution by Power Sector – Northern Region.
