   We get around 1 million tps at amazon ad network and with thousands of server our exchange server / downstream system can\'t scale at those levels. So we took the approach of throttling the requests which doesn\'t add value to us. We have developed next generation smart throttling system based on statistical ML model to filter less relevant request.* I currently own three charters: 1. 3P supply integrations, 2. Identity less supply optimization, 3. Ad impression aggregation, payments to big Supply partners (Google, Microsoft etc) and publishers integrated to Amazon directly.* Lead the effort to move towards more frequent ML model updation based using spark batch processing. This helped us improve the bid rate to 30% from 20% without any loss of revenue.* We launched the smart throttling system to global markets including EU region.* Lead the project to build complete new reporting UI stack on tomcat to surface the performance of PMP(Private market place) ads, to help advertiser troubleshoot their campaign performance. We used ElasticSearch as index storage for fast search and AWS redshift to store ETL transformed denormalized data as per our use case.
