ABOUT RITESH NALLA

As a child, I was always into Cars and dreamed of making a career in the same industry. Finally, after my 12th I decided to take up a Bachelor\'s in Mechanical Engineering at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune. During my engineering days, I was a team member of Team Solarium, a student team that designed and manufactured Solar- Electric vehicles. During my 4 years with the team, I started working with composites and finally ended up designing the Suspension and Steering system of the vehicle. Although this term had many ups and downs, we always managed to come out on top of it and won many awards along the way. During the same time, we were selected to design and manufacture a Solar Electric Passenger vehicle for the college by Dassault Systems as a way to promote their newly launched software 3D experience. By 2019, I was made the Vehicle Dynamics Lead and learned the important skill of managing people and getting the work done within the given deadlines. During this time, my seniors used to watch and talk about Formula 1. Unable to understand their discussion and growing interest in the sport, I started watching Formula 1 and this sport intrigued me. Finally, I decided to make a career in this amazing sport. While working with Magna Automotive Pvt Ltd for 3 months, I learned how the industry works and tried to help improve the quality of products and reduce the cycle time by introducing new Kaizens for the manufacturing line. After a lot of thinking and discussions with my parents, friends, and colleagues, I decided to leave my job and pursue my dream. I gave my IELTS exams and got selected for pursuing my Master\'s in Motorsports Engineering at Oxford Brookes University. Every day, I work harder to pursue my dream and gain all the relevant skills. I also work part-time at Off To Work, which allows me to work at different places, interact with different people and improve my communication skills. I love meeting new people and learning new things, so feel free to say hello and share a story with me.
