Working in the upstream team as a lead analyst in SAP PM. Currently involved with the roll out activities for SAP Plant maintenance. Also handling the development and support of the data loading tool. My activities Includes:• Roll-out activities (SAP PM process configuration) for 2 regions.• Test the SAP CDP structure implemented to support use of work center from a different company code.• Analyze and test the Fiori solution implemented for 4 SAP PM roles.• Configure and test the PM solution to support business needs. • Data load tool activities: Sustain tool is used to create/change SAP PM master data as well as some transactional data. A third-party tool “Informatica” is used as a ETL tool to validate the data submitted by the business before being processed in SAP.• Analyze the requirements for each data object and identify the best way these can be maintained.• Define the input templates based on the fields that are used in SAP.• Define the SAP rules and Business rules to be implemented in Informatica to verify the data before being pushed to SAP. • Perform unit test once the development is done and get the code changes migrated across the landscape till SAP Production system.• Co-ordinate with Informatica team for the changes, so that it also moves to the production system at the same time.• Provide advice to Informatica / central data management team (business) on how SAP validates different data object fields as well as the best practices that can be followed in data management.
