ABOUT NICOLA RITCHIE

I am a motivated, pro-active and well organised Prince 2 Project Manager. A positive influence on others; someone who can be relied upon to deliver what is expected by ensuring that tasks are carried through to conclusion.Following my my 14 years at Standard Life I joined activpayroll in Jan 2015 until Nov 2015 as a Global Implementation Project Manager. I implemented 2 significant global payrolls, one client is in the Oil & Gas industry and the other in IT.In Nov 2015 l joined Safeguard World International as a Global Project Manager where l managed multiple global payroll implementations of varying sizes - many of which are now live and then moved on to NGA HR in Sept 2017 until July 2019.In September 2019 l joined Dobbies Garden Centres managing a project to improve their HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance systems.And in June 2021 l became a Senior Project Manager with Alight and was promoted to Programme Manager in 2023.I am currently a Programme Manager at Veritas Prime after having joined in Nov 2024.Before this some of my achievements at Standard Life included- Project managed all of Standard Life’s Corporate Pension opportunities worth over £3m for 5 years- Implemented a new streamlined process called the “Pricing Experience” which resulted in a 40% reduction in effort required to tender for sales opportunities under £3m- Managed HR resource for 6 restructures impacting staff in Standard Life’s 2011 overarching transformation programme which aimed to streamline the UK business- Project Manager on Standard Life’s £11.2m “People Change Programme” which has enabled a new technology led operating model; implemented Oracle EBS and a third party payroll provider in Standard Life’s international countries.My key skills include- Planning & project management- Communicating & influencing- Problem solving- Achievement drive
