I’m Rita Wilkins, also known as The Downsizing Designer. After more than 35 years as a traditional interior designer, I experienced a radical shift—trading in my home for an 867-square-foot apartment in the heart of Philadelphia. That life-changing decision sparked a movement in my own life and in the lives of countless others: to live more fully, more intentionally, and with far less.Today, I merge my background in award-winning interior design with lifestyle transformation, helping people declutter their homes and their minds so they can upgrade their lives. I believe that design isn’t just about beautiful spaces—it’s about creating a life you love.
