Led the development of multiple human-centered intelligent systems, including a multi-user DDA system and real-time cognitive load and affective state estimation models using physiological signals • Developed assistive technology for older adults affected by Parkinson’s disease and mild cognitive impairment• Conducted longitudinal human-subject studies (over 200 sessions) with both healthy and clinical populations (e.g, Parkinson’s patients, older adults in long-term care settings), collaborated with diverse team of physicians, nurses, and care providers • Designed several Human Computer Interaction (HCI) devices for multimedia and AR/VR applications• Conducted seminar on LLMs in Live Summer Discovery Program, Vanderbilt University • Mentored 15 undergraduate CS students for capstone projects for Software Engineering class (20••••23) • Mentored 4 undergraduate interns on research projects related to assistive technology, social robotics, and hardware development• Created novel HCI and haptic devices and a novel algorithm for eye-tracking based cursor stabilization for patients with Parkinson\'s disease (3 provisional patents filed)
