In October 2023, I joined the Global Procurement team in KWS Expert Hub in Berlin, Germany as a Expert Direct Material and Services (i.e. Strategic Procurement Manager). This function includes the following- Create sourcing strategies for Sustainability, Packaging and Waste Management categories to meet Procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supply chain improvement, product quality, compliance and risk mitigation- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships across different business units to plan, implement and drive change in strategic sourcing to optimize cost reduction and value-added opportunities across geographies- Procurement Project Lead for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Carbon Emission scoping and performance tracking within the Greenhouse Gas Protocol framework and according to European Union legislation such as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)- Accelerate Procurement excellence by bringing together data from multiple structured and unstructured sources to analyse and extract more value from technology, tools, investments and drive vendor performance- Maximize value and cost saving benefits while lowering risk through strategic negotiations and contract agreement with external vendors.
