I lead a team of analysts, problem-solvers, and trusted advisors, also known as internal auditors, who work with management to identify risks, strengthen controls, and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operations.Developed and implemented key performance indicators to better monitor and report on audit effectiveness and efficiency, leadership and people development, and service to stakeholders; because of improved efficiency increased Internal Audit output by 120% in my second year.Developed a formal risk assessment process to evaluate risk more objectively; the risk assessment process and risk-based audit plan were identified as key strengths in the external quality assessment completed in April 2023.Collaborated with Human Resources and General Counsel to strengthen the company’s Code of Conduct and implemented an annual Code of Conduct Review.Enhanced company-wide fraud awareness and understanding by working with the Enterprise Risk Management committee to develop and implement an annual fraud risk assessment and issuing quarterly fraud awareness newsletters.Implemented a relationship management program to enhance communication and collaboration with management.Developed and implemented purchase card analytics to facilitate continuous auditing of this activity.
