Merit School of Music is an accredited community music school designed to eliminate barriers to high quality music instruction. Merit serves nearly students ranging in age from six months to 18 years old; over 70% of its students receive scholarships and/or financial aid. Merit is national renowned for its comprehensive program designed to help students achieve their full musical and personal potential. I oversee the management of the Development Team in working with the Board of Trustees and other volunteers to raise the organization’s contributed revenue. Funds are generated from diverse revenue sources including foundations, corporations, major donors, events, and various individual donor campaigns.
