About Rita Losee
Years ago, I created the mission statement for my life. Immediately after reading Helen Keller\'s words:\"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all,\" I commited to a life of adventure.\" The mission statement for my life, being committed to mastering all that I can physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually continues to direct my actions. The value of that clarity about myself continues to this day. When faced with a major decision, the question I ask:\"What would a woman of adventure do here?\" A quote from one of my favorite professors while I was a doctoral student has also had significant impact on my life. Bob Lasky taught me,\"When opportunity knocks, open the door.\"I continue to be dedicated to the second part of my mission statement: To share what I learn with as many people as I can.Sidelined from my passionately active life by four debilitating illnesses, I am now fully back and eager to help others refire their lives.
