ABOUT RITA V.
I am a graduate student working to better understand the connection between communicative disorders and conditions with which they have a high co-occurrence rate (e.g. ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, SLD, ID, etc.). I\'m currently working on a thesis exploring the profiles of children with dyslexia in the US. While in school, I have worked as a speech therapist in the elementary setting, where the bulk of my experience has been with children with the aforementioned disorders, in addition to speech/language disorders. My colleagues would describe me as a hard working, resourceful individual who maintains a positive, proactive attitude when faced with challenges.
