As a distinguished leader in cybersecurity with over 25 years of experience, I am passionate about driving strategic technological advancements and leading high-performing teams in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. My expertise spans connected vehicle cybersecurity, digital forensics, and identity and access management (IAM), with a specialized focus on connected vehicle cybersecurity and IoT.Currently, I serve as a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer and Security Manager at Bosch North America, where I architect cybersecurity solutions for Autonomous Driving Systems and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as well as lead an exceptional team of automotive cybersecurity engineers. My role extends to presenting thought leadership at prominent cybersecurity conferences and contributing to innovative projects such as using AI in automotive cybersecurity risk management.In academia, as an Associate Director and Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy, I’ve successfully co-developed the Vehicle Cyber Engineering (VCE) program as well as the establishment of the Regional Vehicle Cybersecurity Institute. In my academic role, in addition to co-developing the VCE curriculum, I help to drive the national recruitment efforts and forge partnerships with industry and military leaders.My career has spanned leading roles at Blackberry QNX, Ford Motor Company, and as a Sr. Automotive Cybersecurity Research Engineer for IQM Research Institute, where I developed comprehensive cybersecurity thought leadership, technical solutions as well as conducted advanced security testing. With a Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems and graduate certificates in cybersecurity and embedded systems engineering, my ongoing mission is to advance the intersection of technology and security, inspiring the next generation of innovatorsRecognized as a Distinguished Alumni by Nova Southeastern University and one of Michigan\'s Top 10 IT Leaders to Watch, I actively contribute to organizations such as ACM, SAE, and the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, where I have held and presently hold leadership roles on various committees.
