ABOUT RISVAN UBAIS
Recent graduate in MSc Sustainable Energy Systems and working as a Sustainability Analyst. During my Master studies, I established and grew my passion for energy transition and sustainable energy systems. Some of the courses that fascinated me most were Energy System Analysis and Microeconomics in energy markets, where I first learned to understand the current energy system and later implement energy efficiency strategies in an economic manner. I have conducted semester-long projects during my Master, with companies from Poland, Australia and Indonesia in reducing their carbon footprint and keeping costs low. I love to work in teams and believe in maintaining an open-minded environment within the team. This has helped my team come up with innovative solutions by combining different ideas to tackle one problem. Outside of college, I am a travel enthusiast and have been to more than 10 countries over the past 2 years. I love cooking and exploring different cuisines from all around the world.
