About Rissa Reddan

Entrepreneurship is often described as one part art and one part science. I was born on the Upper West Side of Manhattan to a father who holds a PhD in inorganic chemistry and a mother who is an artist with perfect pitch.That makes me *literally* one part art and one part science. I fell in love with entrepreneurship in business school at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where I also pursued concentrations in strategy and marketing.I am a three-time Chief Marketing Officer and trusted advisor to the C-Suite and to boards. I have experience in financial services, data & analytics, and professional services businesses as both an executive and board member. I bring a deep knowledge of Go-To-Market strategies, M&A integration–both buying and selling, and digital transformation. My experience includes early stage, growth stage, and large public and private companies. I have spent more than seven years on early stage wellness and mental health company boards and more than twenty years on non-profit boards.I love serving as a growth advisor to the Embarc Collective. Embarc member companies have achieved a 96% survival rate, created 1,200 tech jobs, and raised $600M in funding, contributing almost $200M annually in wages and growth capital to Florida\'s economy.
