Ten years ago, I started as a Scrum Master at RBS, facilitating sprints and removing impediments. Today, I\'m shaping the future of digital banking as a Senior Product Owner, driving features that impact millions of customers across the UK. It\'s been an incredible journey of growth, learning, and genuine impact.My proudest moment? Designing and launching a Direct Debit arrangement feature that empowered 10k customers to accelerate their debt repayment. Watching those numbers climb—95k one-off payments processed, 1k fewer customers entering persistent debt each month—reminded me why I love product management. It\'s not just about features; it\'s about changing lives:As Senior Product Owner at NatWest Group, I own the Loans, Credit Card, and Payments roadmap for our mobile banking apps. Every day brings new challenges: mapping end-to-end customer journeys, analysing Adobe Analytics data, or collaborating with design teams to test new concepts. What drives me is seeing how small improvements—like enabling loan overpayments—can reduce call centre volumes by 65% annually while giving customers more control over their finances: Customer Obsession: I don\'t just gather requirements; I dive deep into NPS research, complaints analysis, and app store feedback to understand what customers really need Data-Driven Decision Making: Every feature I launch is monitored, measured, and optimised based on real user behaviour Cross-Functional Leadership: From regulators to third-party platforms, I build bridges that turn complex integrations into seamless experiencesThe packaged account benefits integration exemplifies customer-centric thinking. By implementing SSO to eliminate separate logins, we drove logins from 1.8k to 40k and redemptions from £24k to £384k in just 11 days—proof that removing friction creates real value: From Proposals Engineer at Amazon Filters to Scrum Master to Product Owner—each role taught me something vital. Engineering taught systematic thinking. Scrum mastery revealed my passion for Agile and team empowerment. Now I blend technical understanding with customer empathy to deliver features that truly matter: I coach new starters and mentor mixed-discipline teams because growing others grows me.
