About Rishika P.

MSc in Developmental Psychology (Distinction) with interdisciplinary training spanning psychology and cultural anthropology. My work centres on lived experience, particularly how culture, language, and power shape mental health and care systems.I specialise in qualitative methodologies and critical approaches, with a focus on translating research into practice. My interests include decolonial therapeutic frameworks, community-based care, and the social dimensions of psychological distress. I currently co-facilitate the MSc programme while working as a mental health coach, supporting students and clients through evidence-informed, reflective practice.Always eager to chat about mental health, ethics of care, and the role of social in psychological research and intervention.

1. Senior Mental Health Coach

   Aug 2025 — Present

   After successfully completing my assessments, I began working as a Mental Health Coach, offering free one-to-one online coaching to clients worldwide who might otherwise have limited access to mental health support. In addition to coaching, I assist fellow interns by supporting their roleplays, conducting mock assessments, and providing guidance to help them enhance their skills and better support clients.
