About Rishi Rathi
As an engineer with a passion for investing in disruptive startups, I thrive on working with innovations that can shape a sustainable future. Currently, I’m a member of the Investment Team at Peak Sustainability Ventures, India\'s pioneering DeepTech Climate-focused VC firm, where I evaluate early-stage ClimateTech startups both domestically and globally. Previously, I worked on a FinTech startup that focused on the Green Lending space, particularly for SMEs in India, easing peneration of climate finance to the grassroot levels. I hold a Bachelors plus Masters in Environmental Engineering from IIT Bombay, where I was awarded the Institute Silver Medal. My Masters\' thesis, conducted at ETH Zurich, focused on impact assessment and modeling with the Chair of Ecological Systems Design. My diverse experiences span from working on a Technological Development Project in rural Maharashtra to representing India at the STSI Programme at Hokkaido University, Japan. In my free time, I dive into tech, climate issues, geopolitics, and world history - constantly exploring the intersections of these fields.
