ABOUT RISHAM PARMAR
I\'m a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering (Engineering Materials and Processes) candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expected to graduate in December 2024. My passion for materials science is fueled by a strong foundation in physics (Hons) from Ashoka University. I\'m particularly interested in leveraging artificial intelligence for materials discovery, as demonstrated by my research projects utilizing graph neural networks and exploring novel materials for solar cells and nuclear reactors. Beyond research, I\'m a strong advocate for clear communication and leadership. I currently manage conference logistics and communication for over 1,500 attendees at UW-Madison\'s Center for South Asia. Previously, I served as president of the Ashoka Physics Society, leading initiatives to boost student participation and outreach. I\'m also passionate about environmental causes, having created content to raise awareness about climate change.
