Currently handling legal operations and regulatory compliance for Ansal Housing across Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan. My primary responsibility is ensuring strict adherence to the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), overseeing project compliance, and representing the company before RERA authorities and other forums.I lead negotiations and dispute resolution with homebuyers, vendors, and other stakeholders, aiming to minimize litigation and safeguard the company’s interests. I actively draft petitions, appeals, notices, agreements to sell, builder-buyer agreements, vendor contracts, and NOCs, ensuring they align with legal standards and business objectives.I also represent the company before various legal forums including RERA tribunals, consumer courts (District, State & National levels), and High Courts in Delhi and Chandigarh. My role involves collaborating with external counsels, briefing seniors, and formulating litigation strategy.My work also includes interpreting real estate, consumer protection, environmental, and contractual law issues, preparing legal risk assessments, and ensuring timely responses to statutory queries. Through a problem-solving, compliant-first approach, I aim to create legal frameworks that promote operational efficiency while reducing exposure to risk or penalties.This position blends strategic advisory with high-stakes litigation and regulatory compliance, making me a key legal stakeholder for Ansal’s pan-North India operations.
