About Rishabh Kumar
Rishabh is a strategy consulting and data analytics professional with 10+ years of experience primarily focused on developing and implementing M&A Operations Strategy. After graduating from Delhi Technological University (erstwhile known as DCE) with a first-class with distinction, he joined EXL Service as a business analyst, and earned a promotion to assistant manager within just 18 months, owing to his exceptional performance. In his current role as a Manager in the Value Creation division of Strategy & , he primarily works on Revenue & Cost Synergy Assessment, Operations Due Diligence (ODD), Carve-Out and Post Deal Value Creation projects.At Strategy & , Rishabh’s day-to-day work involves working extensively with the PE firms to assist them in the acquisition, value creation (EBITDA improvement), and divestiture of the US-based firms. In the pre-deal phase of the projects, he assists PE firms in identifying strategic and operational issues in the target’s business model, in quantifying the ($) improvement opportunity and in drafting the value creation strategy to improve the target’s business model. In the post-deal phase of the projects, he assists the PE firms in implementing the value creation strategy developed in the pre-deal phase of the project, and to realize the quantified ($) opportunity.Rishabh is also an avid sports enthusiast and has participated in and won several football tournaments. He is the captain of the PwC NYC Soccer team and led his team to victory in Spring\'23 tournament organized by NYC Footy. Rishabh also represented Strategy & US in the Strategy & Soccer tournament at Madrid, Spain and helped the team finish 3rd in the tournament.
