About Rishabh Arya
A driven and impact-oriented professional passionate about social justice, human rights, and education, I am deeply committed to building inclusive systems that translate development policies into tangible change for communities. Currently working full-time with Global Business Leaders in New Delhi, I focus on data analysis, inclusive policy design, and streamlining internal communications to foster equity within organisational systems. Earlier, as an intern with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in India, I contributed to strategic Learning & Development projects and gained first-hand insight into the functioning of international development institutions.I graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Hindu College, University of Delhi, where I served in diverse editorial roles across academic journals and magazines, both within and beyond my department. My active involvement with student-led bodies. My internships with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) deepened my understanding of systemic inequalities and the need for community-rooted, data-informed advocacy, and how governance actually takes place while assessing several policies. Teaching 8th-grade students as a Teach For India fellow grounded my understanding of educational inequities on the ground and strengthened my commitment to inclusive, student-centred curriculum design. Currently, I am engrossed in studying social policy and understanding how systems operate at scale. I also hold an offer to pursue an M.Phil in Development Studies at the University of Oxford, which I have chosen to defer for now as I continue to strengthen my professional foundation.Skilled in research, report writing, data analysis, social media management, and creative communication, I aim to advance human rights and equity through thoughtful, collaborative, and interdisciplinary approaches.
