ABOUT RISHAB BAJAJ

I am a Master\'s candidate working towards my MS in Human-Computer Science at UCSC Silicon Valley. To supplement my learning outside of the classroom, I also work as a Product Designer at Avahi Inc, where I work cross-functionally with engineering, business, and AI/ML teams on designing the Avahi AI Platform, crafting the experience and interface of various GenAI tools for various industries and use cases. Some quick facts about me: My dream job is one where I’m intellectually challenged in an environment which fosters creativity and the utilization of my education. 🧠 I love cognitive science because I get to learn concepts that provide me with the confidence and perspective needed when designing for any particular user group. It’s my favorite when I’m able to use a specific principle to guide the design for a project. I am an Indian-American born and raised in the Bay-Area, and so naturally, my two favorite things outside of Cog.Sci. are Bollywood and basketball (#Dubnation). Design is a second language to me, offering an additional canvas for storytelling and identity creation. It empowers me to tackle challenges in a unique way that transcends conventional language. As a tech enthusiast and creative, I recognize the significant role designers play in shaping and improving technology, and I am beyond thrilled to contribute to this exciting epoch of humankind.
