As a stagehand with Rhino Staging, I assist in the setup and breakdown of staging, lighting, audio, and video equipment for large-scale concerts, corporate events, and festivals. My responsibilities include loading and unloading gear, operating lifts, running cable, and assembling truss and staging structures, all while strictly adhering to safety protocols and proper PPE usage. I work closely with crew leads and production managers to ensure builds are completed on time and to spec, often in high-pressure environments. This role has strengthened my ability to collaborate efficiently with both union and non-union teams and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace throughout the event lifecycle.
