Hi I\'m Rio Through my work experience I have held opportunities within Non-Profit, Private and Public Sectors across a variety of roles allowing me to wear multiple hats. My past and current roles have allowed me to focus on project management, relationship management, consulting, operations and digital transformation to scale program success. As a previous allied health care professional that has been involved in the public service sector for over 8 years, I have seen the importance of cross-sector relationships between public and private sectors to improve the business of healthcare and tackle our society’s most challenging issues.My professional mantra is to bridge inequities between populations to create better health outcomes. I have a passion for partnerships, health and education, career development, and program management where I have led and trained teams to execute delivery in building meaningful relationships.My public sector experience at the local, provincial levels and Ontario Post Secondary Institutions have allowed me to work on initiatives with government agencies, and community level leaders.Select Professional Accomplishments: Supported the execution of the COVID-19 Hotline Operations program, as part of the City of Hamilton Public Health Service corporate response to the fight against COVID-19. Led a team of specialists to operationalize a telehealth service line assuring service excellence and technical aptitude throughout a rapidly evolving context. Orchestrated the strategic plan and partnerships development of the Mobile Community Clinics vaccination program between the Ministry of Health and Ministry of the Solicitor General. Overachieved target of 75% of vaccination rate across 34 health units for general and prioritized populations of (Indigenous, racialized and underserved communities). Recipient of the Amethyst Award for the Mobile Community Clinic Team recognizing excellence in the Ontario Public Service (OPS).
