The India RISE (Research & Innovation STEMM Empowerment) Fellowship is a 12-month, part-time program designed to support early-career Indian women researchers in STEMM fields by providing advanced research training, leadership development, and personalized mentorship. ABOUT RINKI PRASAD BHAGAT
I am a PhD Researcher in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Jadavpur University with a specialized focus on organic medicinal chemistry. My research is centered on the design and multi-step organic synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, aimed at targeting complex disease pathways.With a strong foundation in both wet-lab and computational methodologies, I try to bridge the gap between traditional synthesis and modern drug design.I am honored to be part of the India RISE Fellowship 2026 cohort, an opportunity that allows me to collaborate with fellow researchers-scientists and advance impactful solutions in the pharmaceutical sciences. I am passionate about pharmaceutical innovation and am always looking to connect with professionals in drug discovery, medicinal chemistry, and oncology research.
