I recently completed my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University, where I developed a strong foundation in systemic therapy with a concentration in Medical Family Therapy. My clinical training, combined with my experience working in various therapy settings, has allowed me to work closely with a diverse range of clients. I am driven by a desire to help others navigate relational and psychological challenges, using approaches that honor each client\'s unique cultural background and experiences.As a passionate advocate for mental health within diverse communities, I am dedicated to providing culturally sensitive, inclusive, and strengths-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I believe in the power of accessible and compassionate mental health care and am committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent marginalized groups from receiving the support they deserve.Being a Muslim therapist, I am passionate about serving the Muslim community, offering culturally sensitive care that respects and understands their unique experiences. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where individuals and families can explore their challenges and find strength and resilience.My background as a fourth-grade teacher gave me invaluable insight into child development and the complexities of family dynamics. This experience has deeply informed my therapeutic approach and fuels my passion for working with children and teens, empowering them through their developmental stages.Working with couples is particularly meaningful to me because I believe that healthy, supportive relationships are the bedrock of thriving families and communities. I am committed to helping couples strengthen their connections, improve communication, and foster environments of mutual support and understanding.
