ABOUT RIM YASSINE
My career as a mental health professional started in 2015 as a psychiatric nurse. Having worked in psychiatric in-patient units expanded my passion and commitment to the field and drove me to leave my home country in the Middle East to pursue a Masters of Counselling at the University of Queensland- Australia. My goal was not only to expand my knowledge but to also gain a deeper understanding about the connection between psychosocial factors, human suffering and the manifestation as mental illnesses. My professional and personal drives are to assist people on their journeys to re-discover their strengths and re-build their identities post-adversity & loss, which I believe are the core elements that will assist clients in meeting their inner needs and henceforth creating a life that they desire. My recent professional achievement was becoming a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. My future short term goal is completing the Brainspotting training.
