Hey! I’m Rim Nassiri, a senior at Augustana College, double majoring in Computer Science and Data Science with a minor in Mathematics. I’ve spent the last few years getting obsessed with AI and machine learning, and recently worked on research at the Translational AI Center (TrAC) at Iowa State University, where we reached 95.94% accuracy with our AI models in agricultural research!I’m all about turning tech into real-world solutions. Whether it’s building full-stack apps with React and Firebase or engineering AI systems to tackle tough problems, I love seeing how technology can make a real difference. One of my favorite projects was leading the development of a SaaS platform with interactive flashcards using Gemini 1.5 Flash API and integrating Stripe for payments. As the Google Developer Groups Lead on campus, I’m hosting 10+ workshops and hackathons, helping tech enthusiasts (and curious minds) dive into coding, AI, and cloud technologies. My favorite part? Inspiring others, especially women in tech, to break boundaries and try new things.Outside of class, you’ll probably find me lifting weights (I can talk about protein macros all day), or at a concert, in the middle of a mosh pit. Fitness, nutrition, and music are my other passions, and I’m always down for a good chat about any of them.I’m graduating in May 2025, and I’m actively looking for opportunities in software engineering and AI.
