Relocated academic OBGYN and Pediatrics departments to campus, and renovated Labor and Delivery unit.• Led hospital through post-COVID financial difficulties, generating YOY hospital expenditure savings through process improvements, agency nursing elimination, and reduction of ancillary services purchases.• Directed consolidation of surgical services following acquisition of large urology group and relocation of Shriners Hospital for Children surgical services • Earned Birth Ready+ designation by the Louisiana Department of Health for excellence in birthing in 2023 & 2024. Remains the only facility in North Louisiana with this designation.• Nominated by the Louisiana Nurses Association as Louisiana’s “2024 Hospital of the Year.”• Rated by Money Magazine and Leapfrog as a “Best Small Teaching Hospital” in their first annual rankings in 2022.

Led relocation of all patients and furniture of women’s and children’s services from a Level I Academic Medical Center to a shuttered community hospital in 45 days during COVID without a playbook. Developed long-term strategic plan for new public/private joint venture partnership with LSU Health and State of Louisiana, including identifying growth opportunities and evaluating leadership team. Co-authored a community needs assessment for a market-leading health system, evaluated specific health needs in the community, and developed action plans to address those needs.
