ABOUT RILEY JAUCH
I am currently a producer at ESPN Madison and a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor\'s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication with a certificate (minor) in Sports Communication. At UW-Madison, I spent three years working for the Wisconsin Athletic Department doing graphic design projects for various sports teams. I also created graphics and ran the social media account for my fraternity, Phi Kappa Theta, for two years. Engagement went up by over 200% in my two years of managing the account. Working in graphic design and social media has vastly improved my ability to work as a member of a team while also being self-motivated, everyone relies on you to get your part done and you have to meet tight deadlines to succeed.Ultimately though, I am pursuing a career in sports broadcasting, which is why I am with the phenomenal team at ESPN Madison as a part-time producer. There I have the opportunity to operate the behind-the-scenes aspects of our daily shows, give the play-by-play for high school sporting events and lend my talents in front of the camera and behind the mic on social media. I find the task of calling games and being around sports incredibly fun and fulfilling and believe that I bring a work ethic, intelligence and voice to the table that would be an asset to any company.
