ABOUT RILEY CLEVELAND

I am a sophomore finance major at The Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University with a plan to focus my education in finance, marketing, and organizational development. I thrive on solving problems and working collaboratively in a team environment to find innovation and practical solutions. I am hard working, creative, and organized. As I look forward to my career following graduation, I am exploring internship opportunities that will allow me to expand my understanding of business and build towards an exciting career. I am drawn to environments that foster teamwork, leadership opportunities and allow for continuous learning and development. I have a background in leadership and cooperative skills, which were, in part, honed in my role as team captain of both my club and high school soccer teams. Outside of the classroom at Santa Clara I continue to hone my leadership skills through my sorority and in various student organizations and clubs, including the Women in Business association. Consistent with the orientation of my university, I have a passion for volunteer work. In high school I volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Food Lifeline and the Issaquah Food Bank. I am continuing to pursue my passion for volunteer work while at Santa Clara University, through their many different community outreach programs.
