Manage all financial aspects of the facility, including cost control, margins and overheads. • Oversaw sales development for the branch and assisted in network opporunities. • Fosters a growth mindset, expanding the branch 30K sq. ft to 450K sq. ft, 5 to 40 customers, 2 to 80 FTEs (including contract labors), revenue / profit. • Managing big operations: 50+ FCL, 50+ FTL, & 50+ LTL inbound weekly and 50+ FTL, 500+ LTL, parcel outbound shipments weekly. • Revenue: increased sales. Developed sales team to drive new business and grow existing resulting in facility expansion. • Costs: look at utilization of material-handling equipment – adjusted shift times to maximize material-handling equipment utilization, reducing the number of vehicles on-site. Conducted root-cause analyses to understand service failures and minimize customer charge-backs. • Develop, measure and monitor customer and internal KPI’s. • EDI / API integration to ensure smooth operations and data compatibility. • Stakeholder management: city accolades. • Identify gaps and develop corrective action plans to improve performance and efficiency. • Champion transformation improvement; Process improvement: Developed internal business processes that have been adopted and standardized nationally. Coached 15 people across 3 branches across the United States to implement processes and assist in transitions • Manage all employment, promotion, termination and reviews for all branch personnel.
