Over the past five years in a college environment, I have found myself to be an adaptable problem-solver with a knack for creative ideas and solutions. Working full-time as a Wine Sales Consultant in Asheville, NC while applying to law programs for the fall 2026 admission cycle. Responsibilities include:* Keyholder responsible for opening and closing duties & inventory management of 800+ SKU’s.* Collaborate with a team of three determining new products and price points to carry in a retail-forward environment; sign checks on behalf of Table Wine & receive new inventory.* Form relationships with new and existing clientele; recommend [new] products to fit tasting profiles of each client. Learn 800+ wines [as well as 30+ varietals], including specific product information and stories about each varietal, producer, & region that is offered (rotates frequently).* Manage our digital website and e-commerce platform by updating (new) product information and price points, as well as updating items that are out-of-stock or returned to the store.* Fulfill online orders, stock & back-stock [new] products on display stands; offer free tasting events and answer questions about 1-5 new feature wines every Saturday.
