About Riley Peternel
My name is Riley Peternel, and I am a student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications, with a focus in Strategic Communication, and I am pursuing a certificate in Digital Studies. I serve as the Event Coordinator for my team in BuckyPR, where I partner with one local business each semester to increase brand awareness in Madison. I am also an Executive Board Member of my sorority, where I serve as Event Director, organizing and executing weekly social events as well as three large formal events per semester. I am interested in a career as a marketing strategist because I enjoy working on team-based projects that require creativity and strong, seamless communication.
