About Riley Dempsey

I am a Computer Information Systems graduate from St. Cloud State University, pursuing careers and adventures within the world of IT and innovation. Through out my college career, I explored the many twists and turns that the IT world has to offer. I find myself to be amazed, day after day at the continuation of innovation and the driving force of IT that continues to make the world spin. Within my undergraduate degree, I found a love for development in all forms. I also believe its important to continue our self education as we grow as young professionals in the world we live in today.During my undergraduate program at St. Cloud State University, I had learned real-world technologies for each specific phase in the Information Systems programming cycle. Meanwhile, I have participated in several academic related projects about application development. For example, a \"Computer Sales Analysis\" visual basic project we did (two students together) in an advanced programming course has earned high recognition by Professor Safonov in the Information Systems program. As a result, I have obtained a lot of hands-on experience for information system analysis, design, and implementation in these academic projects. In addition to the solid application development and web design skills I obtained from the Information Systems program, working for Algae Biomass Organization as a Front-End Web Developer not only enhanced my programming and development skills, but also trained me how to present my achievements. Working for a small non-profit company allowed me to explore the many areas of the Organizational world as well as complete a wide variety of tasks.As a result of my educational background, website project, work experience, and aptitude, I am confident that I am competent for positions in within the field of Information Technology.
