ABOUT RILEY DAY
I earned my BA from the University of Michigan in May of 2024 with a degree in sport management, a minor in business, and a certification in sales. I am in my second season as a Business Development Executive with the Detroit Pistons, serving as the main point of contact for customers interested in full/half season memberships and flexible mini-plans. I also service clients with group tickets and fan experience packages (FEPs). I prospect companies in the Detroit area to drive business development through client entertainment utilizing our corporate hospitality options: suites, loge boxes, and premium seating areas such as courtside and four private clubs.I have over six years of experience in the sports industry. My previous roles were with the University of Michigan Fan Experience Department, strategic partnerships at Plante Moran, a ticket sales associate with the Great Lakes Loons, and golf operations at Maple Leaf Golf Couse. My main areas of interest are corporate partnerships/sponsorship, business development/strategy, and marketing/sales. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me anytime at d•••••••@umich.edu or r•••@pistons.com, I am excited to continue to grow both personally and professionally as I navigate the sports industry.Go Blue and Go Pistons!
