PhD Candidate in the Applied Social Psychology (ASP) program of GW\'s Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, and the Intersectionality Research Institute• Provide research assistance in the \"Team Represent\" lab of Dr. Lisa Bowleg, MA, PhD, focused on:* the effects of individual-level and social-structural factors (e.g, unemployment, incarceration, racial discrimination) and resilience on Black men’s HIV sexual risk and protective behaviors;* intersectionality; and experiences of intersectionality-related stress and resilience in Black, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.• Conduct community-based participatory research focused on advancing health equity and evidence-based interventions to increase diversity, inclusion, and representation of racial/ethnic, sexual & gender minorties in biomedical research (e.g, clinical trials for HIV cure and COVID-19 vaccines).
