ABOUT RIKE BRAND
After several years as a tech entrepreneur and communications expert in Munich\'s startup scene, I\'ve decided that I can\'t close my eyes any longer to the most dramatic crisis of our times that is unfolding right before our eyes. The science is clear: At best, we have 2 or 3 years to act until the climate tipping points will irreversibly be crossed. If there ever was the need to make a difference, it is now. After demonstrations of millions, countless petitions and disrupting fossil infrastructure providers have not brought the radical change we need, Letzte Generation resorts to the last remaining democratic action: peaceful civil resistance with the goal to achieve a socially just exit from fossils until 2030. As part of Letzte Generation\'s Community Team, I am connecting with the movement\'s donor base through a newsletter with behind-the-scenes insights. Our team also act as a low-threshold contact point for the wider circle of financial supporters of the movement. Within the Fundraising AG, I also help organize crowdfundings, and network with angel donors who share our common goals and our values of violence-free and peaceful civil disobedience.
