   Responsible for the day-to-day operation and uptime of a 44 Mega Watt (MW) Machine Learning Data Center (DC).• DCEO Emergency Point of Contact (POC)/escalation point for any issues experienced within the DC.• Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and Emergency Operating Procedure creator. • Oversee the safety and training of the Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Engineering Operation Technicians (EOTs).• Act as vendor liaison and coordinator for various projects, repairs, and maintenance activities for the facility. • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the power, cooling, water, fire and other critical support systems utilized throughout AWS.• Identify cost, labor, and energy savings within the facility and engage the relevant stakeholders to help realize these gains. • Acted as DCEO’s representative during the construction of two DCs, liaising with various stakeholders throughout the process. • Witnessed commissioning activities conducted within the facility throughout construction to ensure installed equipment adheres to the published Sequence of Operations (SOO) and applicable codes. • AWS Certified Instructor.• Correction of Errors (COE) Bar Raiser.• Field Service Bulletin (FSB) Field Defect Notice (FDN) Bar Raiser.• Interview Bar Raiser in Training (BRIT)(140+ interviews to date for AWS).• EOT Instructor Led Training (ILT) program instructor. • Assist in the development and creation of training materials used within the ILT program. • EOT Pre-Critical Switching Team (CST) evaluating board member for the “IAD South” region.• Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) Instructor.• DCEO representative and SME in relation to the development and planning of future DC Basis of Design (BOD). • Lead tours of the facility to various internal and external pre-cleared visitors and teams.
