About Riju Ray
A MD/PhD early development leader (EDL) working in the Research organization at GSK. Additionally building myself as an executive coach. Past pharma experience in US medical affairs as a 2nd line leader for an in-house Respiratory team, global medical affairs for influenza vaccines and clinical development of therapeutic vaccines for a variety of diseases (Oncology, Auto-immune disorders, Alzheimer\'s, Smoking Cessation). Line management experience for scientific/medical directors and medical indication leads. Training and experiences include oncology, pharmacology, neurosciences, auto-immunity, immunology, and biomarker development. Broad range of skills including medical affairs, late and early clinical trials, translational medicine (neuroimaging (PET & fMRI), tumor antigen expression, immunological biomarkers, pharmacogenetics), companion diagnostic development, molecular biology and pre-clinical research. Successful entrepreneurship experience from internal (GSK) and business school (Wharton) innovation competitions. Good publication record from academia and GSK at congresses & journals.
