ABOUT RIHAASH THAMODARAN

I am a final-year BA.LLB (Hons.) student at Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, graduating in June 2026. With a strong foundation in core legal subjects and a growing interest in the intersection of law, policy, and technology, I am passionate about academic research and exploring how legal frameworks shape and respond to evolving societal needs.During my time in law school, I took part in moot court competitions, wrote legal papers, and did internships that helped me improve my analytical, draughting, and advocacy skills. Some of the subjects I\'m interested in studying are Constitutional Law, Public Policy, Human Rights Law, and Technology Law. I\'m also quite interested in how platform capitalism, data privacy, and new technologies are changing the way we think about the law and how it works.I engage in webinars, certificate programs, and guest lectures to remain informed about current legal advancements. These experiences have influenced my aspiration to pursue an LL.M. internationally, concentrating on either Business & Maritime Law or Law & Technology.I am currently open to legal internships, research projects, and collaborative opportunities that can help me apply my knowledge in real-world legal and policy contexts.
