ABOUT RIGOBERTO LORENZO MARTINEZ
Rigoberto Lorenzo Martinez is a Pharmacist who graduated from Nova Southeastern University - College of Pharmacy (NSU-COP). He was born and raised in Cuba and completed High School Education with outstanding grades at IPVCE “Lenin”. On September 2013, Rigoberto moved to the United Sates when he was 24 years old. In 2015, Rigoberto started to work at CVS Pharmacy, a place where he actually found his vocation and passion for the pharmacy profession. There, he got registered as Pharmacy Technician. Later on, he obtained the Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) and started to work at different hospital settings: Palmetto General Hospital, Coral Gables Hospital and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. As soon as he realized that he wanted to become a pharmacist, Rigoberto completed the prerequisites for pharmacy school at Miami Dade College (MDC) where he also earned his Associates in Arts degree with highest honors. This institution gave him a well-rounded education and shaped him as a leader. For the moment, Rigoberto visualizes himself working at hospital setting but he is willing to explore new areas that could enrich even more his preparation as a professional.
