Investigation of new equipment recipes for material deposition, device assembly, and other processes - Troubleshooting problems that arise in the manufacturing process - Development of new digital microfluidic device architecture and manufacturing processes in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and making improvements on the existing processes - Investigation of new materials, formulations, and application techniques - Development of SOPs, and communication of process improvements or new processes to the manufacturing team - Implementation of existing and development of new metrology tools to assess the quality of processes - Working with the manufacturing team to establish new processes, scaling them up, and participating in manufacturing runs to ensure a high quality of finished products
