Rodin is a leader in the presymptomatic detection of cardiac compromise through three core business units: Hydration Assessment, Therapy Optimization for Heart Failure Patients, and the Detection and Assessment of Cardiac Disease. At Rodin, we integrate cutting-edge technology with deep physiological insights to create noninvasive, precise solutions that address critical gaps in cardiovascular care.Rodin’s Therapy Optimization System provides a holistic view of cardiac function by capturing both axes of the Frank-Starling curve, offering unparalleled insight into a patient’s heart performance. The system combines noninvasive central venous pressure (CVP) measurement with the Starling response—a unique test that evaluates stroke volume in response to systematic changes in filling pressure. This dual approach enables clinicians to assess not only the volume status of a patient but also how effectively the heart adjusts to changes in preload, providing a comprehensive understanding of cardiac function. Our Hydration Assessment measures Effective Circulating Volume (ECV), the critical fluid compartment for brain, organ, and muscle perfusion. Unlike conventional hydration metrics, which assess total body water, ECV provides a fluid compartment-specific measurement that reflects the user\'s circulatory status. Using a photoplethysmography (PPG) signal, this measurement can be implemented on wearables like exercise watches or rings, allowing for rapid commercialization through licensing agreements with top wearable companies.Rodin also addresses the need for early detection of cardiac disease, focusing on conditions like aortic stenosis and myocardial dysfunction. These diseases often progress silently until significant symptoms arise, limiting treatment effectiveness. By identifying presymptomatic signs of these conditions, our technology enables earlier interventions, improving patient survival and quality of life.
